Orange Bike getting ready to go to Bonneville

Well, here just little of what is going on with the Orange Bike and getting it ready to go to Bonneville. Today we were doing some on last touches on transitioning the Orange Bike from Drag Racer / Café Race to run at Bonneville. Bonneville requires the bike be safety wired at all critical points and few other details. Lucky for us, one of our good friends and local Dunedin resident like me is Multi-time Champion AHRMA Scott Tuner. Scott works out of the Dime City shop in Largo Florida. I might add, Dime City Cycles is one of Racing For Orphans sponsors!

Scott is not only is a great racer and multi-time champion, in 175, 350 and 500 classes, but is a pretty fair wrench himself! If you have ever seen any of Scott’s street bikes, they are like little jewels of well-engineered beauty, great paint, fantastic fit and finish, and they all run like the wind!

Read more about Scott’s 12 podium finishes in the last two weekend races. That is correct, 12 podium finishes in TWO WEEKENDS of racing at Elk Hart Lake and at Gingerman Raceway in Michigan. Click here to read more on the great guy on Dime City’s website!

So the Orange Bike gets handled and worked on by another great Champion, Scott Turner. He joins Rev Jim, (The Builder) Rickey Gadson (World Champion Drag Racer) and Larry (Spider Man) McBride the first guy under 6 seconds in the quarter on a motorcycle. The list grows and grows!

The Orange Bike only had few more minor details to be done( adding steering damper is required) so let’s see who else famous is going to get to work on this bike!

Stay tuned!
