You that might remember we built a bike for Café Racer TV in 2012. It took us from 2010 to 2012 to get it built and get the it ready for TV . The bike was on for four episodes of Café Racer TV. This bike was ridden by 13 time world champion Ricky Gadson and worked on by Larry McBride (a.k.a. Spiderman) world’s fastness fuel bike dragster. It was on the cover of Cafe Racer magazine, the bike won bike shows at the Rats Hole at Daytona Beach Florida and numerous other locations. After the show season was completed and it was then sold to a lawyer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we thought the bike passed into history.
I was looking at craigslist about two weeks ago under café racers, and to my surprise I saw this orange motorcycle. I was totally surprised that it was the same bike we built four years ago. It was for sale. So, with my good friend Steve Stephen H. Stroup.. I went to Bradenton, Florida and I bought it from Brad Gucciardo, the guy who we originally sold it to in 2012! So after 4 years the bike the Bike returns home.
Now it is returning to it’s original owners (Terry, Jim and Zane) for a redo and then made ready to help with the Racing for Orphans project.
Watch for it to appear at shows and see it in person. There is a lot of history in this machine and more to be made.
