Anton Kirner is an old buddy of mine from Illinois and has a way cool motorcycle shop in Batavia , Illinois (west of Chicago). Anton does repair and restoration in his shop and has some very interesting stuff going on. So from time to time, when he sends be a an interesting project he working on then we like all good Rat Bastards in the Nation will share with the class.
This is an old Kawasaki KZ 1000 (Year?) that was a pretty beat up old junker, a stinking pile of rusting parts held together by dried oil, and bondo. The seat was a ripped up King and Queen ugly monster, dented tank, this bike had no redeeming qualities.
Our boy Anton beat, painted, polished and tuned this junker into this purple beauty you see before you at the top of the page. Nice work Dude!
