Last weekend I must have told the story of how my entry to the Championship of Americas bike show in Orlando came to be called OB$E$$ED . So Here is the Answer . My son came to the shop one evening and Saw that I had changed and was in the process of remaking several of the nuts and bolts and Yet Again as wellas the lettering on the side covers . ( the fourth time) His response was “you will never finish if you don’t stop “Obsessing” over the mineute details . So The bikes side covers were once again stripped for a repaint .

Kevin of Tribbey Auto Body Once again matched the mirror like finish Originally applied By Steve at Brothers Powder Coating. Kevin then wet sanded it and Liza the pinstiper applied the OB$E$$ED logo. But the story doesn’t end there . My color choice for the lettering was crème and orange . After looking at the awesome color and shine applied by these two artists for a few weeks I decided Once again to make a change ! The same design just change the lettering to crème with green dollar signs for the s’s. Kevin and Liza set about repainting the already stripped parts and then clearing the art once done ! As builders we all complain about the customer who constantly changes things , That’s hard enough for the painters and artists , but when the builder continues to change the work you just labored so hard over well , I didn’t hear a peep about was an ASSHOLE I was they just finished the job ! this Obsessiveness applied to every part of the bike , Make some thing only to find I could make it lighter ,stronger or more shiney! OB$E$$ED ! KEVIN, LIZA Thank You , not only for the Awesome job but for your patience when the customer was OB$E$$ED ! you’re the best !
